It sounds like maybe the authentication has changed on the delivery server, as in the username or password.
The message "Update failed" or "The connection with update server has failed" is typically displayed when there is an Internet connection outage, or when AVG cannot connect to AVG update servers.
set up is pretty straight forward create a folder on the root of C: ie C:scans share the folder with full permissions, simple file sharing has to be turned off!!
then go into the device web page using the IP address ie: 192.168xxx.

If this does not work then you would need to check your netwrok settings for the copier or contact your IT person who handles network issues.
I have scan to folder setup and working on a Savin C5050. It just says delivery option, and you can turn it on or off.
